Carver’s stage is waiting!

Family Game Night was a total win! Just in time before a no-school day, our gym and cafeteria were buzzing with laughter, games, and families having a blast together. Kids were on the move, parents got to play and connect, and friends made memories. Huge shout-out to Precision Path 3D for the super-cool student swag and for generously donating a portion of their profits back to Carver Elementary School. We love seeing our community come together like this!

February Staff Conference Meals

During Conferences, our staff meet with families all day — it’s a long stretch, and we love finding ways to keep them fueled and appreciated!

The PTO is already providing meals from Cy's (Now managed by one of our own Carver families) and Qudoba. We know many families enjoy contributing in small ways, so we’re sharing this sign-up for anyone who’d like to help by providing drinks to complete the meals. There’s absolutely no expectation to contribute — this is simply an opportunity for those who want to pitch in.

Thank you for helping us show our teachers and staff how much they’re appreciated during this busy time!

Thanks to your support this fall, we’re able to provide meaningful resources directly to students and teachers. Coyote Donations in Action gives you a behind-the-scenes look at how those dollars are making a difference. Follow us on Facebook or Instagram to see more info on Coyote Donations in Action and see some smiling faces using these items!

Innovation Teacher, Mrs. Wilson:

Used her funds to purchase new graphic novel releases that students specifically requested.

The books sparked excitement around reading, especially for students who are motivated by visuals, storytelling, and choice.

Mrs. Stodolka:

Purchased five comfy, cozy chairs for “Read to Self” time that each child gets the opportunity to sit in once a week, earning a bonus day of extra comfort that encourages focus, excitement, and a love of reading for all learners.

Hello, Spirit Squad!

With a vision to spread kindness and smiles, this idea was brought to life by second-grade teacher Ms. Laland and friends.

The Spirit Squad delivered some favorites like Fit Joy Pretzels, Ryl Iced Tea, and of course… Diet Coke. The halls were filled with smiles, laughter, and a whole lot of energy as they danced through the school to “Walking on Sunshine,” spreading some much-needed warmth on a freezing day.

The CVR PTO, and staff appreciation coordinator CoryAnn Bartusch, kept the good vibes going with a popcorn party popping into the staff lounge. Snacks, beverages, and a big reminder of how valued our staff truly is. These small moments of appreciation go a long way in saying THANK YOU to the people who show up every day to support our kiddos and keep our school running smoothly.

We are so grateful for our staff—and for a community that loves them so well.

3 Months Left to Order Your Yearbook!

Did you know Carver has its very own yearbook? Thanks to two amazing parents who collect photos and stories all year long, we’re able to create a special memory book for our students. Kids absolutely love getting their yearbooks at the end of the year - it’s always a highlight!
